My Invite

I have been able to do some invites and things for people since I have been home. I took pictures of this one, so I thought I would post it. I like it. It is for a bridal shower for Ben's cousin's fiance that Kim is throwing. I also did some Christmas hot cocoa packs for a friend and some graduation invitation mock ups. I will post some pictures of those if they choose to use them. It's been a lot of fun, but I really wish I had all my stuff here instead of it being boxed up in California! I just keep thinking, "Man, if I had my stuff then I could do this, or I could do that!" Oh well they turned out ok anyways.

Mohawk

Being out of the Army has its perks and two of them is that you are no longer required to keep you hair at a certian length and you are able to grow facial hair. At first Ben kept it pretty short because he had some job interviews. Since there have been no job interviews as of late, he hasn't cut it. So while he was playing on the computer, I thought I would have some fun! I got out the gel and a comb and did this to him. It is pretty funny! I think he might cut it soon if I keep this kind of stuff up.

Hunting Pictures

When we moved back to Oregon after being away for so long, Ben had to get back to his love of hunting. Since he didn't have a job or school he saw no reason why he couldn't go every day! Well, one day I went with him to see what all the fuss was about and to take some pictures of our dog Ory in action. I thought they turned out pretty good so I thought I would share them. Some are a little blurry but I couldn't use the flash. (I am sorry about the dead bird, but it was hunting after all.)

The Kidlets!

I thought these were worth posting. I know that they aren't my kids but they are still too cute not to post and I love them with all my heart. I am so happy to be closer to them and get to see them more often. Last month Sadie went out of town for 5 days and I got to watch them. At first I thought, what did I get myself into? I love to sleep in and I can barely remember to feed myself somedays. But it was a blast! I really enjoyed it! Well on the last night, they all got sick and threw up everywhere but, at least now I know that I can handle it!
